Some sketches from the "Funky Portrait party" last weekend

This was a multimedia event at a loft in Greenpoint. Over a period of about three hours, I created about a dozen large black and white portraits. The majority were undocumented, but here are a few that managed to get photographed.

 

There's some distortion in these iPhone photos; I've done my best to compensate for it, but as these two examples show, there's a lot of room for interpretation.

A cool logo for a new business

This logo was designed for a friend who will be teaching Brooklynites how to refine their palates in a series of soirees, seminars, and classes. His girlfriend supplied the concept.
